I have no idea if this particular pen will prevent sceen scratches. I DO
know that a good screen protector will prevent almost any damage caused
by grit or scratching the screen from any source. I've even used a ball
point pen without problems! Since Newtons are going to eventually become
rarer commodities, I wouldn't take the chance.
