I just received a 2000 for a friend. I was told before hand about this and
actually, it is not as bad as I had feared.
When the power is just turned on, it comes on, mainly because you just
barely push it in.
If you are trying to turn on the power and the back light (or turn on the
back light) and you push it too far, the light will come on, but when you
release, it will shut off the unit completely.
The good part is that if you just are careful, and not go to far, it will
turn on the back light ok.
Is there anything that I can do if I take the unit apart to adjust or repair
the switch? Does the switch just need to be replaced? Is the switch
available? Any soldering?
Thanks!
Drew
