My MP130 has developed a problem similar to the "instant off" problem
described for the MP100. If it's not plugged in, it will only stay on for
maybe 30 seconds, before shutting itself off. It has fresh batteries. It
always starts back up when I flick the power switch, with the message "the
newton turned off because power was interrupted." I was using SleepAid, but
froze the package and that has not fixed it. I have never replaced the
backup battery. Do I simply need to replace the backup battery (I haven't
received any message saying that it's running low) or do I have a more
serious problem?
