I think that while the Pippin flopped at the time, it may be well because it
was WAY ahead of its time.
With the move that games are making back towards game consoles these
days....with all the game consoles becoming a bit more like computers
(adding the internet to their concept).....and with computer-oriented
companies like Microsoft turning towards the game console industry (with the
X-Box), it seems that a Pippin-like device (sold at a much more reasonable
price) might not be such a bad idea today.
