I recently acquired a GlobalVillage 56 kbps v.90 modem, and I've had mixed
results with it in my MP2000. Sometimes it Connects without a problem;
other times, I'll hear the modems connect, but then nothing happens until
I get a "There was no answer" message. I've tried a variety of modem
drivers, including the built-in "28.8 & faster," "14.4 Normal, "14.4 Alt.
1," and the only GlobalVillage driver I've found on the Web,"GV Teleport
Platinum," all of which work occasionally but none of which work
consistently.
Any advice?
