Yes, you can. I use a 20MB all the time and my other slot usually has a
6MB card, but sometimes I'll put in one of my other cards (three 2MB and
one 4MB) or an Ethernet card or modem card, or a couple of old StarCore
ROM program cards I have (Dell Word games, etc.)
Any card can go in any port (with modem cards you will need to specify
the port it's in in Prefs, at least for some modems)

Good choice! (Makes no difference to your Newton card use, incidentally,
EXCEPT that only Mac users can use Ethernet cards on MessagePad 2x00's
and eMates to talk to Newton Connection Utilities or other
Appletalk-capable programs on the Newton).
