Personally I prefer mailist lists to web-based setups.
One thing is that I do _not_ use the digest version. That means I can
follow threads without any trouble at all. I can also easily reply
directly to people, and it results in me easily storing a local copy of
any important messages...

People do need to learn taht, yes, they really _can_ trim before they
send. NO, they don't have to quote 200 lines and add a single one. But I
still do prefer mailing lists personally...
