It's pretty easy to take apart the 130's rechargeable. Just remove (slowly)
the metal parts on the top and the bottom. Throw away all four cells (don't
bother just replacing the dead one, the others won't be too healthy anymore,
either), get 4 new ones and glue all the stuff together again.
Or, even easier, get 4 off the shelf NiCad AA cells and put a piece of thin
cardboard beneath the middle two. This will trick the 130 into believing
an original Apple pack is installed (never do this with non-rechargeables).
I'm going to blow new life into a couple of my packs soon, anyway, so if you
want, I could refurbish yours for approx. DM 20,00 each while I'm at it.
The new cells will have about 60 percent more capacity than the originals.
