Gary, it's a very noble gesture of yours to speak so critically of the
American attitude abroad but in the context of this list English probably
is the preferred common standard. No No objection, however, to the
occasional parallel discussion in other tongues: and just to mention it -
when I lived in the States some 20 years ago, I encountered a tremendous
amount of hospitality and understanding, I'll never forget that.
