It has the latest OS on it. I figure that it is either the card or the
battery, but I am leaning towards a short in the card draining the battery.
I am currently trying the other advice about charging and restarting.
The eMate was working fine until I installed the card.
Here is what I notice to think that.
The cover, that covers up the board and battery, is warm right above the
card.
On the upgrade card there are 3 chips.
>From left to right
1st chip?- covered up by companies label
2nd chip- middle chip is the one that is warm. This is the one producing
the heat. Is this normal?
3rd chip -is an Intel flash memory chip
So is this normal. Does anyone out there who has an eMate upgrade have a
warm cover over your upgrade card? Let me know.
