Yes, I am talking about Soft Print Pack.
Soft Print Pack operates by simulating the Print Pack serial to parallel
cable. That is, it looks like a printer to your Newton, and it dumps the
raw data into the Windows print queue. No translation of the data stream
occours, so if you set the Printer on your Newton to "LaserWriter" and you
have an Epson MX-80, what will print is raw PostScript.
What this means is that if you have a printer supported by the Print Pack
or Print Pack 2 drivers, Soft Print Pack is a great buy for $10. But if
your printer is not supported, then Soft Print Pack will probably not work.
I mentioned PrintLink because it does not care what kind of printer you
have.
