I own a message pad 120 bought second hand about three or four years ago...
it has been in the draw for a while (since I gave up on the writing
recognition). Well, the Palm III has lost its gloss, and a few hours mucking
around with the recogniser settings has yielded astonishingly good results.
Since last use, however, main AND backup batteries had died and it is back
to OS 1.something.... How can I get it back to v2.something?? (I am in
Sydney, Australia). I have a Win95 PC with no connection Software.
I realise that, in a way, this is the PDA I always wanted - more features
than Palm and heaps bigger/clearer screen.
As an aside, for any Australian users, what are the chances of coming by a
MP2000 or 2100? How much could one expect to pay? More to the point, anyone
have the above for sale in this country?? (You can have an HP Jornada 820
for it if you want).
Anyway, its nice to have rediscovered an old, if not always loved, friend in
the MP120.
Still gasping that recognition is working so well.
