Has anyone seen the Franklin ebookman in action?
I just saw one at Staples. While I'm certain the
machine is probably one step down even from a
Palm as a PDA, the form factor is beautiful. The
screen is very nearly as big as my Newton's (2k),
but the body itself is barely bigger than the
screen. Really, I think it is teh perfect PDA
form factor -- taller/wider than the Palm, but
thinner than the iPaq. and, plenty of room for
writing and reading. The only thing this guy
needs is an expansion slot, form-wise.
If only the Newt had continued development, it
may have gone this way.
