I have the part numbers/specs for the DRAM required for upgrading the Newton
2000 to a 2100 and it got me wondering.

Has anyone tried upgrading past the standard 4MB? I have seen it done on
Palms but has anyone done it on a Newton?

There would be an obvious trade-off between more heap space and battery life
but I am willing to sacrifice that, especially since the DRAM is available
in larger modules. It would also take a bit of working out when it comes to
the soldering as well.
