I am using a Motorola Montana 33.6 Has anyone else experienced
the loud ness of the dial tone during dial up or is this specific to
this
modem? The odd thing is this:
In the pref panel for modem, the volume is either ear bleeding, off,
or medium which is near ear bleeding. There appears to be only
three stop points on the volume slider bar as opposed to the
smooth sliding action of the regular system volume.
