Hallo,

I plan to write a player for the ABC-Notation format for the newton. This =
a format to store mostly folk music in ascii-format. I am new to newton =
programming. Therefore first I wrote a program to play melodies in =
hypercard-play format witch is quite simple. I also wrote a program for =
mac-hypercard to convert the music from ABC to hypercard format. So there =
is a possibility to get abc-music on the newton. You can write melodies =
directly in hypercard-play format. But I don't think it would be real fun. =
