Jeroen makes a very good point here.
Whether an eMate or MP2100 is best for you depends on how you are oging
to use it.
If you get the right matchup for your needs, then the Newt becomes an
extension of your mind so to speak. No longer are you hamstringed by the
device, but rather your mind is set free so you can focus on what you
need to do.
Suggest that you make a list of what is important to you, in priority
order. Then determine which items on the list work best on the eMate
vice the MP2100. Once you've done this, hopefully you will see what is
most important to you, function wise, and which of the two platforms
works best to solve those functions.
FWIW, I looked long and hard at the eMate, before deciding on the MP2K
series. I already owned a 110, and used a 120 and 130 extensively. I
was used to the portrait form factor and liked it. Since the Newt
recognizes my handwriting fairly well, I decided that the keyboard was
not a necessity. Also, I wanted the additional memory slot while using a
modem/fax card. Speed was important as well. So my option was quickly
narrowed down to the MP2K.
