[NTLK] 2100 from ebay - the woe continues

Hi all,
        My '2000 in a 2100 case' saga continues. The guy selling it claims that
Newton released two 2100 models in North America and that a 'pre-release' 1M
version was available.

I'm fairly sure that this is nonsense. Can others confirm/deny?
