I bought one of these. Not cheap: $70 or so. It works fine. After
you install the software, it shows up in NCU as "Printer Port USB".
Some apps, however, do not see it at all. But it works well.
However, I finally found a working Ethernet card: a D-Link 660CX,
which I just got from Mac/PCZone. I can now sync with my
Airport-equipped iBook over my Ethernet network, and at a MUCH
greater speed than serial.
and the card was much cheaper than the keyspan too: like $40.
