[NTLK] sync to claris organizer error

i am syncing my newton to claris organizer. names and notes work fine. but
whenever i try it with the calendar i get the following error message

"The operation was not completed because the following error has occurred:
Unable to complete import or export operation"

has anyone seen this or have any idea how to make it go away?
