I would add:

- Total integrated desktop software for sync'ing. Both for Mac and PC.
That includes text and graphics. Software that let's you easily archive
calendar and todo information for historical purposes.

- Form factor would use a folding display. Look would be something
similar to the HP-19BII calculator -- but slimmer and slightly smaller so
it would fit in a suit/pant pocket. When you open it, the whole area
would be display. Looking for 640x480 minimum. Color.

- Built in Ethernet, Bluetooth, USB, etc. you get the idea.

- Large storage capability. Maybe the Microdrive. But solid state okay.

- Also, a removable media slot. Adapter for MMC, SM, CF, and MS would be
provided so you could use any of them to interface with your digital
camera device.

- Faster OS. Those of us with Newt 2100's are spoiled. Older Newts,
like the 110 can get slowed down when adding numerous todo's and calendar
events, to the point of becoming unusable.

- If a wireless solution, make it worldwide. First used my Newt 2000 in
wireless mode in 1996. Used a DoCoMo PC card to connect to my DoCoMo
cell phone. Wasn't fast, but worked well for text Email. Design the
device so that worldwide wireless is second nature.

- Last but not least, have software written/tested by folks who have
lived and worked outside of the states for extended periods of time so
that it really integrates with the different locales around the world.
In this area, the Newt leaves a lot to be desired vice the Palm OS.
