hmmm.... in that case microsoft will also be out of business, since IBM is
leaning more and more towards Linux :)

i think youre forgetting the corporate market here: companies will stick to
compaq/HP and siemens equipment for a long time, even if dell will fade
away. (what concerns apple, my personal theory is that nothing will happen
until apple will licence macintosh servers to clone makers. they just cant
cope with the risks of the roll out costs on their own atm. apple servers
today is a joke, but shouldnt be.
