Dont reformat it yet.!!!!!!!

Something is hanging up.

You can trouble shoot by freezing lots o pkgs and running through them in a
process of elimination

If the problem is on the card there is a way to insert it and not activate
the pkgs Its just eluding me.

I am sure someone will chime in here.
