I would like to bestow accolades on a company that has
(and still is) served the Newton well.
Several days ago, I purchased my timed-out version of
Dashboard. (ok, it timed out on me...I was just having
so much fun, I forgot, OK?)
I paid my money (credit card) and sent through Kagi.
The weekend goes by and nothing, Monday, Tuesday and
most of Wednesday and still I hear nothing.
I write to the company (fivespeed.com) and tell them
that it's been quite a while and was wondering where
my software is. About an hour goes past and they send
me an email back apologizing for the delay and as a
bonus to my patience, they were giving me a free copy
of Wake Up. Wow...that was very nice of them!
Anyway, I just thought that such customer service
demanded to be recognized, and so I would highly
recommend that if you need software, check out
fivespeed first (note, I am in no way affiliated with
fivespeed or any agent employed by fivespeed. The
above statements are my own and were made with no
coersion or expectation of return from fivespeed)
