[NTLK] Newton really the best PDA anymore?

Well,

With the IPAQ ( the newest one ) I am now wondering if the newton is really the best PDA anymore. If my hunches are right it may not be which saddens me. I have a couple OT questions about the IPAQ ( what kind of memory cards does it use and what kind of battery does it use ) and battery life and what about speech recognition? It's faster I know and it's color and it can learn your hand "writing" but it costs $500.

I was going to do an experiment for the list by comparing the IPAQ ( through user experience ) but I cannot afford an IPAQ at the moment :( I feel the newton has the "coolest design" and I love the screen size but hey this is the first time anything remotly better then the newton in hand helds has come along... I will get one soon I hope and give my opinions on it and what I think...

Until I have enough to buy one I will wait :( but if anyone would like to make a contribution ( it will be going to a very important cause ) ( I might even check the IPAQ and see if the newton OS could be ported out to it ( since I have the resources to get that part tweaked with ) another question is about E-BOOKS! how do they look/work on the IPAQ? I would love to take all my "newton" E-books and put them on to the IPAQ but... I don't see how... unless there was a newton E-BOOK emulator for the IPAQ...

well those are just some of my ideas/wants/needs/thoughts

oh and if you want to contribute I'm putting up a website ( money wise ) only a couple dollars will do for starts ( I will do all I can to make a killer IPAQ/newton site...

but hey I doubt anyone will contribute since well it's I don't know odd.

well that's all
