I swear by it! I did use cleaning a few times. Basically, it scans all the
soups and looks for entries which were created by non-existing packages,
that were deleted some time ago. It then present a list of all those
"orphaned" entries and you can decide which ones you want to delete.

Doctor will attempt to fix any problem it can find in the soups. Things lik=
e
invalid values, packages and the likes.

I think they, Software Bureau Mueller, have a web page with some
documentation when you dowload your package. That should help you to get
started.

It is very safe and effective. And you should bother right now when you can=
,
so that you don't have to look for it when something bad happens to your
Newton.
