But...it's just hype! It's larger-than-life public relations bravado.
This is like trying to
have a substantive discussion with a press release. There comes a point where,
unless the company line is so inaccurate as to be blatantly false and
intentionally
misleading ("The iPod will run Linux...the iPod can connect to your 68040
Mac by the
Serial Port...The iPod will make you taller and significantly more
attractive to the
opposite sex), you just have to agree to disagree.
