The HP is normally conected to a PC and doesn't have PostScript; AppleTalk
needs a Mac with ethernet around, which it ain't...So I can't use my
LaserJet 4 but a LaserWriter Plus, or an NTX would do the job marvellously
(and need no other bits'n'pieces)?
(On another note, the recently quoted prices for MP2x00's on the list are a
lot more than the prices I was given by MacEasy. Their prices started at $99
for an upgraded MP2000 (MP2000u) that had a couple of screen scratches and
missing door clips ( I assume these are the little clips on the back that
hold the flap open) up to $159 for a pristine condition one (and it was,
apart from empty PCMCIA slots that I taped over). Again, no connection with
them, apart from good service. But our friendly neighborhood UK Customs will
stuff you on VAT, so don't bother if you live here, get one from
posres.com.)
Any further help on the printing side would be appreciated.
