The problem with debit cards is that they are NOT covered by the same
laws as credit cards are. With a credit card, you are liable for at most
$50. Debit cards have no such protections. Now, individual institutions
may have their own policies, so it pays to know what is in place at your
bank, credit union, etc. BTW, I like your descriptions of living in all
credit world, but you really need to lay off the Popeyes! ;-)
