by matching the rpm(engine speed)
lower gear runs at higher rpm at the same travelling speed,
one can downshift without using the clutch by stepping on the gas to
increase the engine speed and when the engine reach the right rpm
....just shift with the clutch.
it is a matter of timing, and listening to the engine
