yes.
Of course, if one had a separate OS9 installation (i.e. separate from
the OS 9 installation used for the classic environment) then one could,
in principle, have a set-up which enabled the adapter in OS9 and OS X
but not in classic.
Keyspan are aware of this but I do not know if it is fixable.
