Now there is some real discussion going on here!
Grant this is THE end all solution to our problems. Unfortunately, this requires
a more permanent modification to the Newton's hardware for the average user. It
would be a lot of work for David to have to receive each person's Newton, open it
up, take out the NIC, solder on the new ports and cut the holes in the Newton's
case.

I just had an idea!!
I wonder what the possibilities would be of making a mold of the outer shell of
the Newton case. We could create a new shell with the "holes" for these new jacks
in all the right places! Then we could even offer them in different colors too
(die hards wouldn't want to give up the green though!)
