let me get out the manual---
oops, it's at school...

but i believe the answer is both

this is theoretical on my part,because i am actually connecting via serial
to a lc575 one at a time

but the instructions i've got are for daisy chaining via phone cables and
serial ports, creating your own little network
and they talk abt connecting yr emates plural to a desktop
and a printer, with little blanks at end of chain in second plughole of
appletalk connector
i'll try doing two today if i get in early
