Use X-Port and send the note as an .RTF file. This will open fine with the
ink text notes preserved as graphics.

Although here's an odd one. I'm running the Developer's version of OSX 10.2,
with InkWell handwriting recognition activated. When I opened the .RTF file
of unrecognized "ink text" in Word X, and select all the ink text, I can
choose "Recognize" on the "Tools" menu and the ink text is translated to
actual typed text GOTCHA! I am kidding, but I'd love to try it when OSX 10.2
comes out...
