Sloup might not update progress if it gets really busy with xfer.

going back to your earlier message (now that you've got entryspec working),
I assume separations between data values on first line are tabs?
[probably so if you were getting name visible in MadMax]
do you include line continuations for the mp hex data lines?
[otherwise, you'd get only a little data...]
