You are right there but I've overcome it by crutching the OS and adding
a device call KickStart that re-starts the AppleShare 6.x.x server
whenever one of the services is hung. In this way, user hardly ever
notice the server going down and when it does it's only for 5 or 6
minutes. I wish OS X Server had all the features that AppleShare IP has...
