You need to make sure that you install the NEWTON DEVICES package...check
Victor's page at http://www.chuma.org/newton/ethernet/ for the best summary
of Newt Ethernet connectivity I've seen.

I just rec'd my 3Com Ethernet card and I'm trying to install the
Farallon Ethernet driver and the 3Com add-on for the -D rev of the
card (per the FAQ).

I'm downloading and installing the package via NH and I get an error:
Unable to activate Farallon Ethernet since Newton Device Drivers are
not in the system

Huh?

Using NIE 2.x, the latest official NewtOS 2.x, etc.
