[NTLK] package install over ethernet in OS X

Greetings,

I have searched the archive, and have most likely missed the relevant
answer... It's also not in the FAQ. I have a question that runs off the
ethernet and package installer debate from earlier, and I seem to have
missed the answer to this particular issue.

Is there a way to use an ethernet connection to install packages via
something like NPDS? I could mail things to myself if SimpleMail would
recognize my mac.com address (it won't, dunno why), but that's not an
option right now.

Any clues on what to do?

Michael Wittmann
