I used a MP130 extensively before giving it to my wife when I got my
MP2000u. The speed difference was very, very noticeable in terms of
handwriting recognition. I found myself "waiting" a lot more with the
MP130 for letters and words to be translated. Now, I wouldn't say that
it's instantaneous with the MP2000u, but it is much faster and improved.
It also helps to tweak the handwriting settings ...
