[NTLK] Web browsing slow on my 2100...why?

As you may (or may not) know I just got my 2100. I've installed NIE 2.0,
Ethernet Device Module, and WaveLan Orinoco Driver (latest version).

I've installed NetHopper, and it takes >15 seconds to load www.google.com
without any images. It only took about 1 second to render the page but so
long to download.

My old Power Mac 6500 takes much less time and my powerbook with the
wireless card takes maybe 4 seconds at most.

Is the the driver's fault, the web browser's or mine? Any suggestions to
make it faster?
