Ok here is MY answers

I have had one of the eagle creeks a few years ago. It lasted a long
time till it started falling apart. The metal started coming apart. I
wore that one into the ground. They no longer make this model.

Then I switched to an outpack. Same basic idea. This is a photo bag. It
works well though stiff.

BOth of these are large and I cannot have the newton on me while
driving. So I have to take the newton in and out. Or I can use the stap
and have a purse (not to macho).

I just got RIPOFFS CO-58 which was suggested here. This is great. This
is exactly what I have been looking for. It has a clip on for the belt.
Two pockets that I am hoping will be useful for ID and CC and such.

This holster will be getting a good field test this weekend as I am
flying to Palo Alto for a wedding. I will give a further review if
desired, after the field test.
