Anyone know which company is involved?
HP owns a Patent on IrDA 1.0, but we don't need a license to use
it/implement it as long as the software runs on the Newton since
Apple (or Cirrus) acquired the license.
Linux has a working implementation of IrCOMM. I don't think they paid
for the license :)
