Apple doesn't support OSX on any mac older then the beige G3.
The multiprocessor 9500/9600/Daystar/Maxxboxx is based on the older
"Tsunami" PCI architecture.
You can run OSX on it, with the addition of Ryan Rempel's incredible
Xpostfacto, which adds a bunch of extensions to support the Old World
hardware and Open Firmware.
Unfortunately it does not support Multi-Processors... I've been
bugging Ryan for months about this, since I have two dually's, but he's
a busy man....
