Re: [NTLK] Apple Peripheral 8 cable - is this for Newton-to-PC?

According to your description it seems to be the Newt to PC-cable.
But it could be an Apple Modem cable as well.
The difference is in the wiring - a modem cable is wired 1 : 1 while a
connection cable needed to communicate with the Newt needs to have the Tx
and Rx lines crossed.
The Newt to Mac cable has Mini-DIN round connectors on both ends and has
crossed wiring.
