One possible reason: Because the 130 (and all other earlier models)
is running a different operating system.
Another possible and much more likely reason: Because the 2x00's
way to make contact between the touchscreen ribbon cable and
the main logic board is even crappier than that of the earlier models.
Ever heard of jaggies on an eMate? It has the same os as the
2x00 models, so if this problem was really os dependent, we
should have heard of this problem from eMate users.
As opposed to the 2x00, though, the eMate has a decent connector that
connects the touchscreen ribbon cable to the printed circuit board.
