Well, I just got a 32 mb pcmcia pc card ata by Sandisk in the mail.

I paid a $1.25 on ebay, plus shipping it came to $13.25

I've run the demo per Paul's instructions and -- no error messages -- text
file is there on reinsertion too.

Nick's TestIt gives a time of 23.7 sec versus 10.1 to go to internal.

However, after filing a few modest notes to the card I see no real time
problem. Of course a really big file might take a while, but at this price
that's fine by me.

Info off the back gives the following Part Number:

SANDISK P/N
SDP3B-32-584
AA045HM
