I'll have to get some qtips from home to clean the inside of the
newton. In the meantime I tried cleaning the battery. It at least
thinks it can read the temperature. I'll include the temp it says:

Sweet mother of abraham lincoln, it's Charging now!

Thanks everybody. Nothing like a shirt tail and a glass of water to
fix a newton!
