Don't know for sure since I don't use any of the artsy-fartsy stuff like
Photoshop and the like, but if you're going to be shuttling 10-100 MB files
around from HD to RAM and manipulating them, then bus speed could be a real
killer.
OTOH, I haven't checked lately to see what the earlier G4's are going for.
If your friend has an Altivec-aware version of Photoshop, that is.
