I tried rechargeable NiCds in my MP100 _ the major problem was short
battery life. Same with rechargeable alkalines. The problem is that the
MP100 eats batteries. You'll get the best battery life from good quality
real alkalines (Duracell Ultra or equivalent). I found that bargain brands
were no bargain since they gave 1/4 the service for 1/2 the price.
