The issue with IrDA is that it's not documented on the MacOS X side.
Just like AppleTalk (although that in the case of AppleTalk, there
are some internal documentation at Apple).

The advantage of AppleTalk is that it's zeroconf before zeroconf. You
don't need to specify any IP or port.
